Overview


Charles Diamond advises clients facing class actions involving allegations of age, race, and national origin discrimination as well as pay equity studies. He is an expert in applying econometric methods to employment practices and damages in employment disputes. Dr. Diamond has provided expert testimony in cases involving employment practices, lost corporate profits, product liability, and business interruption disputes in federal and state courts.

Dr. Diamond testified in litigation regarding the appraisal and estimation of replacement costs associated with the collapse of the Twin Towers and associated buildings of the World Trade Center on September 11. His testimony concerned construction risk/statistical models and hard-cost budget escalation and forecasting.

Prior to joining Resolution Economics, Dr. Diamond held senior positions with several economic consulting firms and was most recently Vice President in the Labor and Employment practice with Charles River and Associates. Dr. Diamond’s research has been published in the Journal of Labor Economics, Journal of Econometrics, and Journal of Development Studies and he has presented his papers at industry conferences. For more than 16 years, he taught graduate and undergraduate courses in labor economics, econometrics, managerial economics, and microeconomics at the American University in Cairo, Egypt, Texas A&M University, Utah State University, Clemson University, and University of Louisville.
