About Us

Resolution Compliance is the business group within the Resolution companies that is focused on assisting employers in managing risk associated with class action employment litigation.  In connection with our work, we assist employers with analyzing hiring, promotion, termination, performance evaluation, and pay practices to examine whether the data suggests there are statistically significant outcomes against protected groups.   In the wage and hour space, Resolution Compliance assists employers with examining exempt status for groups of workers, auditing payroll and timekeeping data, and monitoring risk related to meal and rest period claims and off-the-clock work.

With Resolution Economics, we are the leading providers of litigation consulting services in wage and hour class action matters, where our work in over 300 cases has made us aware of virtually every possible noncompliant circumstance, in California and across the nation.   Through this division, we have also provided expert testimony in class-action, multi-plaintiff and single-plaintiff matters alleging discrimination on the basis of age, race, gender, and national origin/ethnicity, in recruitment and hiring, promotion, pay, termination, and other employment practices.  In both wage and hour and discrimination settings, we are regarded as national leaders.

Resolution Economics and Resolution Compliance share staff and resources.  Therefore, all work on this project will be conducted by highly experienced professionals who possess a thorough understanding of the issues that could give rise to a class action employment matter or an investigation by government agencies such as the Department of Labor, the OFCCP, and the EEOC.
