Dakus Gunn

Dakus Gunn is a Partner based in Resolution Economics’ DC office. He has testified in construction disputes more than 45 times across the spectrum of U.S. courts and international arbitration venues including the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the United Nationals Commission on International Trade law (UCITRAL), the SCC Arbitration Institute, the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the American Arbitration Association/International Centre for Dispute Resolution (AAA/ICDR), and the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC). Mr. Gunn has served courts, international arbitrators and mediators for more than 25 years as an expert in schedule delay analysis, productivity loss, construction damages and economic losses. He has been recognized by Lexology as one of the top industry experts and a thought leader in the construction industry for Firm Management, Arbitration, Client Choice, Energy, Construction, Consulting Experts – Quantum, Delay & Technical.

Prior to joining Resolution Economics, Dakus Gunn was a Managing Director for a leading construction dispute firm and grew their international disputes practice to one of the most recognized practices in the world. He speaks frequently at industry conferences for the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering and at the Global Arbitration Review. Mr. Gunn obtained two Bachelor of Science degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received his secondary education in the United Kingdon.
