Background
Stephanie Greenwald is a Partner based in Resolution Economics’ Toronto, Canada office. She is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Valuation Services practice and serves as the National Practice Leader for Personal Injury and Investigative & Forensic Accounting at Resolution Economics Canada.
Mrs. Greenwald specializes in the quantification of economic losses arising from personal injury, accident benefits, sexual abuse, medical malpractice, fatalities, business interruption, and other litigation matters. She has completed numerous litigation support assignments for both plaintiff and defense counsel and has authored more than 3,500 reports addressing income and benefits losses, pension losses, housekeeping and home maintenance costs, costs of care, and dependency losses.
She has developed and presented lectures on topics including the development of economic loss claims, loss of dependency income and housework, participation considerations in income loss calculations, pension income losses, collateral benefits, and the discounting of future income streams. Mrs. Greenwald has also been qualified as an expert witness before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
Prior to joining Resolution Economics, Mrs. Greenwald spent more than 25 years specializing in litigation accounting. Her experience includes positions at international accounting firms, serving as a partner and leader of a boutique economic loss consulting firm, and leading a litigation accounting practice at another international accounting firm.
Mrs. Greenwald holds a Master of Forensic Accounting from the University of Toronto and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
