Background

David Wang is a Manager at Resolution Economics LLC, an economics and statistics consulting firm with offices in Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, D.C., New York, and Charlotte. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Occidental College.

Mr. Wang has experience in providing litigation support and consulting services for class action and single plaintiff matters across a variety of industries. He regularly provides analyses and support related to meal and rest break compliance, unpaid overtime, off-the-clock work, rounding, regular rate of pay, misclassification, wrongful termination, and other wage and hour claims. His areas of expertise include processing large and complex databases, preparing detailed statistical analyses, and building flexible damages models for use at mediation and trial. Mr. Wang has also been involved in the design and implementation of large scale, nationwide surveys and observation studies in both litigation and consulting contexts.

QUALIFIED VETERAN:

A “disabled veteran” is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or show citation box or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A “recently separated veteran” means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran’s discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

An “Armed forces service medal veteran” means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

“Other protected veterans” means veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. military during a war or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge is awarded.
