Last June, the U.S. Supreme Court held in a 6-3 decision that admissions programs at Harvard University and the University of North Carolina violated the Constitution when they used race as a factor in admissions. While the Supreme Court decision was specific to higher education institutions, employers are already starting to see the implications this decision may have on workplace equal opportunity and DEI&A programs.
