Background

Irina Balashova is a Manager based in Resolution Economics’ Philadelphia office. As a Certified Public Accountant holding Accreditation in Business Valuation (CPA/ABV) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Irina brings over 15-years specialized knowledge in economic damages and forensic accounting for purposes including litigation, personal injury, and commercial disputes. Irina has provided support and consulting for single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, and class action matters across a variety of industries.

Irina received her Masters in Engineering from Bauman Moscow State Technical University. She received her Masters in Business Administration from Louisiana State University.

Prior to joining Resolution Economics LLC Irina worked for regional CPA firms, analyzing and quantifying the financial aspects of matters in dispute in various types of litigation.

Irina is involved in the professional community as a Board Member and Treasurer of a Philadelphia Chapter of ACFE since 2019. In 2020 she received an NJ CPA Ovation Award for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion category.

QUALIFIED VETERAN:
