Eric Chance is a Manager based in Resolution Economics’ Los Angeles office. He has a B.S. in Finance from California State University, Northridge, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with over seven years of experience in financial investigations, litigation consulting, and economic damage quantification. Prior to joining Resolution Economics, Eric spent three years at RSM US LLP, where he worked on various forensic accounting investigations, economic damages, and litigation consulting engagements.
Eric focuses on analyzing complex financial and accounting data to assess economic damages in commercial disputes, including matters involving lost profits, unjust enrichment, and forensic accounting. He works closely with legal counsel to develop case strategies, perform detailed financial analyses, and prepare expert reports for mediation, arbitration, and trial. In addition to economic damage matters, Eric conducts investigations and forensic accounting engagements involving allegations of financial misconduct, regulatory non-compliance, and internal control failures. His work often includes tracing funds, reconstructing financial records, and identifying patterns indicative of fraud or misrepresentation.
