Background
Rick Contorno is a New York based Partner in the Financial Advisory Services Practice of Resolution Economics LLC, an economics, statistics, forensic accounting and economic damages consulting firm with offices throughout North America.
Mr. Contorno specializes in the delivery of forensic accounting, financial investigative and advisory services for insurance related matters on behalf of carriers, corporations, and their counsel. He regularly advises clients and supports counsel on complex insurance issues such as employee dishonesty, cyber business interruption matters, directors & officers claims, supplier/vendor fraud, representation and warranties disputes, and financial fraud across all industry segments.
With over 25 years of professional service experience, Rick is adept at providing strategic oversight, while leading teams of highly specialized industry and technical subject matter specialists in support of complex investigations and litigation. Furthermore, he has significant experience conducting international investigations across a variety of industry segments.
Prior to joining ResEcon, Rick’s experiences included consulting and leadership roles within the financial advisory businesses of EY and RSM US, along with several years in the internal audit department of a Wall Street investment/brokerage house. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois.
